Single poem books

Reading a single poem in a miniature format slows the reader and enables a more intimate contemplation of its meaning. In this format each one does not disappear in the wake of the next, as can happen when reading a collection. The writer says:

My little books are meant to be carried about in a pocket, passed from friend to friend, sent instead of birthday cards, propped on a mantelpiece or tucked into a Christmas stocking. I do not mind if they are ephemeral, so long as the words remain, resonating in the reader’s mind. The choice of font, format, scale, colours and textures of papers all serve the words.

Each copy is unique, all are signed. Poems marked * also appear in collections (as stated in brackets).
